The 2025 Elite Hockey Cup is open to all U14 girl’s school and club teams competing at the top levels in Ireland and abroad. We see this event as a showpiece where the best of the best will compete to be crowned the Elite Cup Winners. Teams entering are expected to be performing in Division 1 standard hockey.
The tournament is for players between 12 to 14 years old (U14), born 01/01/2010. This is to allow for players to compete in the 24/25 hockey season.
Coaches must be at least 21 years old.
We request that every player bring an ID, as there will be a random check. In the case of players outside the set age group, disqualification may follow. If you have any questions regarding age limits, please do not hesitate to ask.
The matches are played by the current rules of the International Hockey Federation (FIH). Qualified Irish Hockey Umpire Association umpires will be used where possible to guarantee a professional competition.
